Phantom of the Opera

When in New York, do as the NY’ers do — see a Broadway show!  And since Broadway is notorious for $100 tickets and insanely overpriced dinner specials in Manhattan’s Theater District, having a fun, musical-inspired night out is unattainable for lots — unless they save up for it.  But thanks to a newly launched discount Broadway ticket portal called Season of Savings, we’re able to offer one lucky reader a lovely night out, complete with Broadway show and a delicious Italian dinner.

A little info about Season of Savings:

Season of Savings, Broadway’s twice-annual special edition of Playbill, featuring significant discounts and deals  for numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, parking garages,  hotels and other New York City attractions is now available at www.seasonofsavings.com after appearing yesterday in several major metropolitan newspapers. The timing of the discount availability for each show ranges from August 30 to December 20. Consumers can take advantage of discounts such as 50% off tickets for Chicago, $55 ticket coupons to HAIR and $40 to Mary Poppins, or up to 30% savings on Rock of Ages, the 2009 Tony Awards five-time nominee.

Now for the fun part — we’re giving away 2 tickets to the long-running famed Broadway show, Phantom of the Opera (video below) and a $100 dinner certificate for Tony DiNapoli’s (check out the menu here).  Tickets are only valid for the September 29, 2009 performance.  Contest closes Sunday, September 13th at 5pm.  You can have up to 4 entries in the contest, and the official rules are below.
