
Slacker, the free online internet radio, has heard our resounding cries for software and answered accordingly with it’s long awaited iPhone application. Bringing you all of the best features from their web-based application and portable player, the Slacker app works in basically the same way that the website does, with the exception of not being able to save songs to your iPod.
The application is free, but you can upgrade to their cheap premium plan to forgo random commercials and a skip limit. Keep reading for further details, features and screenshots of the app in action (and don’t forget to check out the link at the bottom to download your app).

5) Speaking of Internet Radio, I tried both Pandora and Last. fm. Pandora works well except that all content plays in mono. Hello? 1948 called and wants its tech back! Last. fm looks nicer than Pandora but takes an insane amount of time buffering content over 3G. When I drive and listen to Last. fm, there’ s about a minute of silence between songs, even with a strong 3G signal… Fail. I also installed Twitteriffic and Twinkle.
