Weekend Bargain Hunter

This past weekend, I was milling around the Ditmas Park area of Brooklyn – checking out the beautiful Victorian houses and quaint little shops when I ran into a little street sale. And you all know how much I love a good street/stoop sale. So, like any good garage-saler, I sifted through the tables of knick knacks and came out triumphant with the absolute coolest set of beer glasses I have ever seen (pictured above).

How much did I pay for these lovely hand painted, ceramic novelty glasses? A whopping $4. Granted, this wasn’t a necessary purchase. But, they were within my personal spending budget, so I didn’t feel bad about scoring them. I actually felt quite proud. Now I just need to have some friends over to show them off and try them out.
