Go To Daily

Go To Daily

LifeHacker featured another really cool website the other day called Go To Daily.  A cross breed between Coupons.com, Retail Me Not, and a social networking site, GTD is an online shopping community with deals not only limited to food, but to clothing, electronics, books, flowers, gifts, health & beauty — even office supplies.

The site functions much like a social networking website would, but the best feature by far is the ability to search for coupons over a vast spectrum of industries and companies. They allow you to post your own coupons or coupon codes that you find online, and users can add feedback to already posted coupons by stating if they still work, what stores will accept them, etc.

Another fun fact is that they actively promote frugality by allowing you to post and share saving tips.  They feature their own tips on how to save money with retail purchases (as well as energy and travel saving tips) on their blog, and they provide a pretty comprehensive list of free and low-cost activities that are available to most city residents.

It’s an excellent way to do a quick search for a discount before you make a purchase.  Especially since they tend to offer quite a few discounts with major online retailers like Amazon, Wal-Mart, and Overstock .
